A surprise rhododendron bloom! I noticed this today on the bush on the side of our house. I was surprised, considering it usually only blooms in the spring.
Here is my progress on my AbFab throw. I have made four yarn changes so far. I really like how the pattern is turning out and the way the colors mix together. I haven't had as much time as I would like to work on it, and it will have to wait a week while we are away on vacation.
I am still sick, but am managing. I have some kind of respitory infection. I am on anit-biotics now, so hopefully I will be better soon. We are flying to Florida tomorrow morning at 6:30, which means we have to leave for the airport around 4:15am (ugh.) We will arrive in Orlando bright and early, just before 9am, so we'll have the whole day to play. As bad as I feel, I think it will still be nice to get away and relax somewhere other than at home. We have a crazy hit-every-park schedule planned, but that can change if needed. I also am looking forward to visiting my grandmother for a day. She lives in Sarasota, about two hours driving time southwest of Orlando. We are going to spend a day there visiting and exploring the beaches and St. Armand's Circle, which is a fun place to shop!
I won't have computer access until we get back just before labor day, so this is my last post for now. I will hopefully have fun stories and pictures to post then.
