It's Socktoberfest time!!

I haven't knitted socks since....I don't know when!  Maybe a year or more ago??  It's time for Socktoberfest again and this year I'm participating.  I am going to knit the mystery sock KAL using Cherry Tree Hill supersock merino yarn in wild cherry. (I won it in a raffle a while ago and have wanted to ue it for some special project.) 

This isn't a great photo, but it will have to do for now.  I started last night and got about an inch into the pattern.  I am hoping that with the different parts of the pattern being revealed each week I'll have motivation to finish the entire sock.  And then knit the second one.  (HA!)   Lolly is wonderful to have started this fun project back in 2005.  I'm happy to participate again!

I have been knitting other things, such as this sweater for the toddler. I am also working on some mittens for him and have finished the first one.  They will match his new LL Bean fleece coat for winter.  Maybe he will actually wear them in the snow this year.    

So I do still knit, I just don't blog much about it anymore.  Since I use Ravelry to keep track of my knitting projects, and parenting consumes my life, my blog is more of a journal now.
