For Christmas, I gave my little guy a hardback copy of four Harold and the Purple Crayon stories. We have read all of them frequently and even found old animated episodes of Harold and his crayon adventures on HBO on demand one day over the winter when we were stuck indoors. We love Harold!
This past week I learned that Harold and his crayon will be on performance as part of a live-action play in Philadelphia! I'm a member of Philly Social Media Moms, a great networking group. One of the members of the group offered us tickets to see one of the performances. I think my son will love seeing this show. The adventure into the city will probably be just as much fun for him, since I think we'll probably take the train into town.

The Enchantment Theatre Company Presents: The Adventures of Harold and the Purple Crayon is 60 minutes and features a question and answer session following each performance. It is being performed at The Prince Music Theater, 1412 Chestnut Street, in Philadelphia. Ticket prices are $29 for adults, $17 for children, $25 for Seniors and Students with special group rates available.
