Photos from my spring 2004 trip to France. I spent time in Paris, Angers, and L'ile de Noirmoutier. It was the trip of my dreams. I have always wanted to go to France to visit, but never thought I would be able to make it there. My place of employment was founded by a sister of the Good Shepherd. The Motherhouse of the Sisters of Good Shepherd is located in Angers, France, in the Loire Valley. I was one of four people sent from my agency on this trip. I did not know Patty, AnnMarie, or Nancy very well before going. We decided to go to Paris for a few days before our program began in Angers to sight-see. We arrived at Charles de Galle Airport around 9 am on March 19th, 2004, after an overnight flight from Philadelphia. We managed to see so many sights in just three days. It was fantastic. I would love to live in Paris--it exceeded my expectations. Someday I hope to go back and see everything again plus the things we missed. On March 22, 2004. the four of us figured out the French train station and took the TVG, through Le Mans, to Angers. It was a nice ride through the French countryside. Our pilgrimmage in Angers began the second we stepped off the train. We explored every inch of Angers and fell in love with the sweet sisters that welcomed us with open arms into their home. We even had the opportunity to travel to the west coast to an island, l'Ile de Noirmoutier. It was beautiful. Our adventure ended on March 30th, 2004 when we flew home to Philadelphia. Exhausted we were, but we brought with us many memories of a trip we will never forget. This album contains a number of pictures from our trip. Enjoy!
