I finished my Sockapaloooza socks Saturday night. I still need to block them, but I like how they turned out and how they match in pattern and size! They are significantly smaller than the socks I wear, so I really hope they fit the recipient. This photo is dark, but the color is accurate. The close up is of the stitch pattern. It is a mix of garter stitch rows with yarn over rows to create a striped eyelet pattern. Now that these socks are done I can get into some other promised knits--including a baby set that someone at work asked me to knit for her--for payment!
Today at 1:26 pm it officially became SPRING! Of course there were a few snow flurries this morning, but the warmer weather just has to be on its way. I bought some silk hydranga blooms over the weekend to make an arrangement for spring. I can't wait until the real ones in the yarn start blooming.
Happy Spring!
