November arrived with gusts of wind and a yard full of leaves. We spent Sunday afternoon raking, cleaning up the garden and playing in leaf piles. It was windy but not cold and lots of fun!
It seems like every week for the rest of the year is jam packed with activities of some sort. Most of them are fun! I've been looking up more slow cooker recipes, since they seem to work out so well for these busy days. One thing less we have to do is our CSA pick up, as Monday is our last one for this year. Our CSA offers a winter share, but I chose not to buy into it. I have an abundance of turnips still! We had a great summer at our CSA and will definitely participate again next spring and summer.
Monday: slow cooker chicken tortilla soup (recipe link is not for the slow cooker, but that's how I'll prepare it.)
Tuesday: Salmon with broccoli and cous cous
Wednesday: chicken in mole sauce with polenta
Thursday: Tortellini with pancetta and peas
Friday: homemade pizza
Weekend: TBD
