This photo has nothing to do with menu planning. It just makes me laugh every time I see it!
I spent almost every night last week working on creating a Picaboo photo album. Every year I make one giant photo book for my son's birthday. In the past I would print photos and hope to get them in an album. Making a digital album and having it printed is so much easier and cheaper than the way I used to do it. Plus, when I see sale deals (like Groupon deals) for photo books, I buy them. The one I had most recently was about to expire and I kept delaying making the book, so I had to do it last week. I used this photo in the book...from a recent visit to the Please Touch Museum.
Thanksgiving is in less than two weeks, but it seems to have been completely forgotten by the retail industry. Not only has Santa been in the mall here for over a week now, there is barely sight of anything remotely fall or turkey themed anywhere. I want to make a pretty Thanksgiving banner like the one I saw at Hillary's house last week, but could I find fall themed scrapbooking paper at the craft store? Nope, should have looked for that in July apparently. I managed to get some fall colors at least to give the project a whirl. I'll post it when I do it!
