This summer has been filled with lots of fun activities. In July, we had the chance to see The Imagination Movers perform in concert at Sesame Place. We have been fans of the Movers for about four years now and try to catch their shows when they are in the area. They are such an upbeat group of musicians that know just how to appeal to both kids and their adults. Seeing them at Sesame Place is fun too, as not only are the tickets low cost, the environment is personal and small, allowing interaction during the concert. We always get a kick out of seeing the guys come out into the bleachers to play their guitars or sing next to kids. This past concert, my son had the chance to meet each Mover and get his hat signed by all of them. They are returning to Sesame Place in November and the kiddo has already requested that we go to their show.
The Imagination Movers are currently working on their ninth album and have a fund raising campaign going on. At this moment they have surpassed their goal. I love that they are donating part of the funds they raise to the National Down Syndrome Society. My son can't wait to get their newest CD!
